About Me

Hey! I'm Cynthia and I enjoy traveling! Most of my travels are solo trips but I do enjoy traveling with friends too. Traveling wasn't always in the cards, but once I started, stopping was not an option.

Growing up in the South Bronx, NYC and Honduras was all I knew. Every summer I would travel to Honduras to visit family and spend time with my grandma. Visiting other states or other countries was out of the question. That immediately changed in college where I was introduced to the idea of studying abroad.

As a French minor, I studied abroad in Dakar, Senegal in 2007 and this experience forever changed my life. This was my first time traveling by myself and my first time living away from home. Once I got a taste of traveling, I vowed to see every corner of the world. 

Since Senegal, I have lived in Cameroon and have visited 100+ countries. Over 70 of the countries I have visited have been solo trips! I haven't been everywhere, but everywhere is definitely on the list!
